Yesterday I drove up to the Baltic Sea, that's about 430 k = 267 miles one ride. With some breaks it took me about 5 hours. Lot's of road works along the way.
I went to the Darss, which is peninsula. It has several villages and I went Wustrow first, but when I got there I realized that I had mixed it up with Ahrenshoop which is the next village. Anyway, I walked around a bit and took some pictures. After that I drove north to the parking lot where I wanted to go to the beach.
10 hours of driving for 2 hours at the beach might be considered crazy by some, but it was worth it. I was desperate for the sea, the wind, the sand, the sounds, the feeling of lying at the beach and simply enjoying the peace. I'm glad I did it.
Here are some pictures I took.
Today I'll have glass noodles with selfmade pesto for lunch. Should be interesting to make this. Later on cinema or lounging in the park with Chris.
KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!
What is pic #5, a walking path or something else? Looks interesting if its not a walking path
ReplyDeleteIt's the walking path through the dunes towards the sea.
